Our Mission
Mission: We are a home for transformation, where individuals of all backgrounds find support for their physical, emotional, and social well-being, leading to the cultivation of stronger, more connected neighborhoods.
Vision: To foster a future where empowered individuals build stronger, more connected communities, transforming lives and creating positive change.

Programs
Parent-Child Interactive Rooms: Two large rooms (one each: nursery/toddlers, and grade school children) are outfitted with furniture (both child and adult-sized) as well as a variety of toys, games, and books to encourage drop-in play. NTC also has a playground with slides, tubes, and swings as well as benches for fun during the nice weather.
Parenting Classes: NTC hosts Parenting with Heart (10-week sessions) and FLIP-IT (5-week sessions). These classes are structured, curriculum-based parenting education.
One Less Worry Closet: We offer free feminine hygiene products Monday–Friday from 9 am-1 pm or by appointment.
Community Meal Programs: Served every Monday and Thursday, 5 pm to 6 pm. More than a meal, it is an opportunity for people to socialize in a family environment. Also featured are regularly scheduled entertainment and educational programs. At least six hundred meals are served each month.
Community Garden: Just a few steps from the community meal kitchen is a community garden. With the help of area groups and volunteers, we encourage interested people to grow their own produce. Produce from the garden is also used in our community meals and is offered to anyone desiring fresh vegetables.
Laundry: A person’s sense of self is an important factor in that person’s ability to move forward to achieve goals. Showers and clean clothes make everyone feel good, and when one feels good, they can be inspired to achieve more. Individuals and families use NTC’s laundry machines and free detergent/dryer sheets to wash clothes and linens. Available Monday–Friday 9 am to 1:30 pm or by appointment.

Events
Community Transformation Event Calendar is in the works, in the meantime, feel free to check out the below:
Relatives As Parents (RaP): Monthly meetings designed to provide support and information to relatives in the role of parents raising children 0 to 18 years. Topics explore everything from legal/financial assistance and are paired with a fun family activity.
Family Move Night: Wholesome, family-friendly movies are offered free once a month. We love seeing families gather for popcorn and a show. What better way to share time, a laugh, and spark conversation than through an engaging, fun family film?
